Ceuta Needs Us Close: A Day to Support Local Tourism and the Community

Sometimes, travelling means more than discovering a destination. It means being there.

That is why, on Saturday, 24 October, Alcam Travels is organising a very special day in Ceuta: an opportunity to visit the city, enjoy its gastronomy and heritage and, above all, contribute to the recovery of its local activity through tourism and supporting local businesses.

A city we want to visit again

Ceuta is part of our country, our history and our culture. It is a unique city, with its own identity and a fascinating blend of influences that can be discovered by walking through its streets, enjoying its cuisine and experiencing the city first-hand.

But this time, we want to approach it with an additional purpose.

When a city is going through a difficult period and needs to regain its momentum, visiting it is also a way of supporting it. Every table filled in a restaurant, every purchase made in a local shop and every person who chooses to visit contributes to keeping its local economy alive.

That is why we believe tourism can be a real tool for supporting Ceuta: not just by talking about it, but by being there.

A day to enjoy and make a difference

We have prepared a day designed to enjoy Ceuta while also making our own small contribution to its recovery.

We will explore the city, visit some of its most representative sights, enjoy a gastronomic lunch and have free time to walk around and shop in local businesses, particularly along Calle Real.

This is not simply about taking a day trip. It is about spending a day in Ceuta, supporting its businesses, walking its streets and helping to generate the activity the city needs.

Because we believe that one of the best ways to support a destination is to experience it.

Today, more than ever, Ceuta needs us close

At Alcam Travels, we want this day to be an invitation to come closer to Ceuta and show that tourism can also have a positive impact when a destination needs it most.

We want it to be a day to enjoy, but also a way to contribute. A chance to discover — or rediscover — a city that deserves to continue welcoming travellers and to contribute, in a simple and direct way, to its local economy.

Ceuta needs us close.

And perhaps one of the best ways to be close is simply this: go, enjoy, spend locally and help its tourism and businesses regain momentum.

Will you join us in Ceuta?

On Saturday, 24 October, we will leave from Guadalmina for a full day in the city.

A day for Ceuta. A way to support it: by visiting.
